The first one he’s been interested in actually trying anyhow. Banana, strawberries, peaches, acai, spinach, and a splash of rice milk. Despite that sour face, he had already had several tastes of it and liked it enough for me to pour some into a cup of his own. He drank more afterwards, too. Silly guy. [...] We love bubbles around here. Who doesn’t? We wasted so much bubble solution from spills last year. A friend recently introduced me to the ‘no spill’ bottles. I am so incredibly thankful! That same friend introduced us to this huge bubble maker. Fun and easy for the kids to manipulate. <3 Aidan Ollie

Ollie’s ‘huh?’ face This morning we headed out to the Bayou City Farmer’s market to do a little shopping and meet up with some friends. I used to go to this market often when we lived closer. It’s gotten much bigger since I had last been and I’ve missed it [...] Ollie’s Easter basket
We had our little family celebration a little late this year (and last, I think) because we were off celebrating with out of state family over the weekend. Today, I finally gave the boys their baskets which included pajamas, books, and a sew ‘n’ sew for Oliver and lacing [...] Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not known for my timeliness. I do try, but sometimes I get over ambitious or life just gets in the way. It makes me laugh to see that I bought this fabric way back in April of 2009! I had this project in mind for a very long [...] Despite my feeling not so great today, we managed to get quite a bit of things accomplished. We started off the morning with a trip to the nursery to pick up a few plants. They didn’t have what I had set out to get, but we came home with a few lovelies and [...] This month we are going to participate in the great outdoor challenge. To join in, all you need to do is get outside each day and take a pic of your kids enjoying nature. Getting outside is the easy part for us. Taking and uploading a pic will be a challenge for me. Some days [...] We’ve been busy. Catapulting paint-filled balloons and watching them splat on umbrellas.
