Oliver is 10 months!

.. and has been for a few days now.  Ollie has been walking since 9 days before he turned 9 months.  He’s gotten quite good at it, though it looks more like a waddling cowboy than the typical walking movements.  He’s also managed to go really, really fast.  I guess one could call it a baby run.  He loves to ‘run’ to the stairs, climb up 1 or 2, then look back with a huge grin to see if I’m coming to get him.  Of course, the minute I acknowledge him, he hauls it even faster up the stairs – giggling all the way!   This mama is definitely on her toes!

Ollie likes to eat leaves.  He also enjoys mulch, sand, dirt, flowers, acorns, paper, and fabric.  He has ‘passed’ both mulch and fabric before.   Oops.  This boy doesn’t care for table food much, yet.  Maybe he just prefers to eat it super, super fresh from the earth.

Clapping hands, clicking his tongue, and waving bye bye are his newest tricks.  Yesterday he played peek-a-boo by holding a playsilk, raising it in front of his face and putting it down all on his own.  It was adorable.  Ollie loves to laugh and giggle.  It’s rare to catch him without a smile on his face.  He ‘sings’, but also likes to make ‘dragon’ noises with his throat.  He’s super friendly and has been known to cuddle up with the first person he randomly bumps into while walking around a room.  Did I mention that he has me wrapped around his little finger?  I thought  you probably already knew.  ;)
