R2D2 and a few other things

As mentioned in my previous post, I finished the R2D2 hat that was originally meant for my sweet, patient husband.  Aidan has been more than happy to wear it since it’s a bit too small for my man, even though he hasn’t the foggiest of who or what R2D2 is.  I did find the adult version and will get that on the needles for dh very soon.

I’ve also had a bit of sewing machine drama going on.  My machine was giving me issues – or so I thought.  Apparently, ’self-taught’ isn’t all it’s cracked up to be at times.  I was very patient with both myself and my machine last night and finally cranked out some projects that I’ve been waiting to sew up for days.  Some are holiday gifts and some are for birthday presents, but I would rather not share what they are just yet.  I can’t wait for our little recipients to give these a go.

I doubt I’ll post much more in the coming days.  There is much to do and prepare for.  One major holiday is only a week away, but there is another right around the corner from that.  Baby Ollie will be ONE on New Year’s Day!  Yes, we have much to prepare for!
