This is the scene in my home lately. Ollie loves to be worn and I love to craft. Here we are in harmony while he sleeps.
I feel like I have so much to do and so little time to do it. Sprout’s birthday is next Tuesday and we’re hosting playgroup to celebrate. He’s also having a party next weekend. Just about everything will be made with these two hands, building a festival for him from scratch – the cleaning, food, the gifts, the bubbles.
I do love it; I just wish I had a little more time. It will all work out in the end, though. It always does.
That said, I already have ideas brewing in my head for Sprout and Ollie’s Spring baskets and I can’t wait to get started. I’m also working on something for the boys for Valentine’s day, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish.
And here is a photo of likely the most action the sweater I knit for Sprout will see this season. It makes a nice cardigan without the front panel. As soon as I find some buttons for it, I’ll sew them on and it will be complete! Who knows, maybe he’ll still be able to wear it next year…
