Is it really still Spring?

Did you know that Spring is officially over in Houston?  It is HOT here already!  The other day the temperature gauge nearly touched 100.  Heck, it may have in some parts of the city.  We’ve been doing what we can to keep cool, but still get a bit of nature in our days.  Recently, we were lucky enough to visit a friend with some great shade in her back yard.    We were there to celebrate a very special birthday boy, who just so happened to be turning 2!  The boys had a great time in the hammock and it made me a bit envious for both the shade and the hammock to laze in.

I’m sure you can probably guess that our gift to the birthday boy was his crown.  I have so much fun making these and it’s especially great to see how much Aidan enjoyed presenting it to his friend.
