Happy Father’s Day

I am so incredibly thankful to have such an amazing husband to father our children.  His love for the boys is obvious and it grows every single day.

I chose this photo to share today because I love all that it encompasses.  Aidan and his Daddy are cutting the umbilical cord while Oliver works on nursing.  This was done in our home and in the comfort of our family bed.  This photo symbolizes Aidan becoming a big brother, Daddy becoming a daddy – again, and Oliver’s place as the baby brother in our little family.  There is just so much love and trust in this one photo.  My heart swells.

I love how we were able to take our time and include Aidan on so much of Oliver’s birth.  I absolutely loved birthing at home.

My dad doesn’t read my blog, so he’ll get a nice phone call tomorrow morning.  :)

I hope you are all having a wonderful father’s day weekend.
