As mentioned in my previous post, I finished the R2D2 hat that was originally meant for my sweet, patient husband. Aidan has been more than happy to wear it since it’s a bit too small for my man, even though he hasn’t the foggiest of who or what R2D2 is. I did find the adult [...] …has come to a screeching halt. Well, almost. My sewing machine is acting up. Thank goodness my knitting needles have no mechanical functions that break down or get fussy. That said, I do have a few FO’s that I can share with you. I made the boys some matching Christmas stocking hats. I haven’t really made [...] Well, the fall weather came and went and finally showed back up for a few hours this weekend. We enjoyed as much of the cooler weather as we could despite the rain. The mosquitoes reared their ugly heads today, though, so we didn’t stay out as long as we would have liked. I even let [...] I have been itching to knit Ollie a ‘waldorf hat’ for quite a while. They are pilot style hats that come down a bit in the front and cover the ears. I think they look precious on babies and are wonderfully functional as well. I had meant to save it as an autumn equinox gift, [...] Well, we’ve been sick. Ok, I haven’t, but everyone else in this house has. I’m not sure what the heck they all have, but it’s terribly annoying. Fevers come and go and the coughs are terrible, but we will get through it. Teething in progress Baby Ollie is growing up much too fast. He’s been crawling backwards and toying with forward motion. As of today, I can finally see a bit of tooth ready to erupt from his gums. Did I mention that one of my favorite things about babies [...] I’ve been knitting away over here. The photo above is my current wip, but I’ve had a few other projects on and off my needles. I can’t show you those just yet, but I will very, very soon.
Another FO! I was able to finish this one in one evening. Those little cardboard sleeves seemed like such a waste (even when Recycled), so I decided to Reduce and knit one to Reuse. Now, if I could just make my own lattes. Anyhow, there are tons of patterns for them [...] The cold weather has been great and dear old Houston even got to see some snow last week! Sprout was staying with some friends while hubby and I were in a birthing class, but they were gracious enough to take pics of Sprout and their offspring playing in the white fluff.
