Finally! You’ll no longer hear me whine and complain about my old machine and I being at odds. I still haven’t decided if I should bury it or donate it, but I have no intentions of ever using it again. I want to extend the warmest welcome to my new Janome MC6600. This machine should more [...] I’m working on a little something for the birthday boy. I’d like to applique and/or embroider something in the center, but I’m not sure what. Maybe sign it ‘from Mama’ and 2010? I’d love to hear your ideas. Look at those corners! Not bad for my second ‘quilt.’ Ok, so the disclaimer is that this is more of a patchwork throw than a quilt. There is no batting, no binding. It’s simply turned and topstitched. However, it’s close enough to a ‘real’ quilt to be a perfect gateway for me.
